250 horsepower from a 2.0-litre GDi turbo, delivered through an eight-speed automatic and an intelligent mechanical part-time four-wheel-drive system. Front and rear axles carry electronically controlled locking differentials with limited-slip function.
A centre differential with its own locking function completes the set, so all three can be locked when the terrain turns serious. Everything else about it is the same 212: high, square and unbothered.
